Ledyard Education Advancement Foundation was founded in 2003 by Ledyard Alums, parents, and supportive community members to marshal the community’s resources to provide a margin of excellence and support innovative teaching by our great faculty. Since inception, LEAF supporters have donated over $600,000 to Ledyard Public Schools. Commemorating your upcoming class Reunion with a gift is a great way to not only give back to the school system that provided you with your start, but to also benefit today’s students, helping to maintain that sense of Colonel pride and joy for learning! Your class gift to LEAF helps to provide Ledyard students with iPADs, technology, and pre-engineering programs that help our students to not only be regionally competitive, but to also meet national Next Generation Science Standards. LEAF encourages alumni to work together to set goals for participation in the form of the LHS Class Challenge. Classes who have reunions this year that make donations of $1000 or more will have a teacher mini-grant named after them. LEAF will feature all classes that make any type of donation throughout the year at our annual Celebration of Excellence event. This is a simple way for alumni to give back to Ledyard and leave your mark on the future. Go Colonels!
